Ottenhoff Consulting operates our primary hosting services in a state-of-the-art data center in Irvine, CA. We offer our hosting services in a highly secured and monitored environment on our own enterprise-level equipment utilizing Oracle/Sun hardware:

Physical Data Center

  • SSAE 16 SOC I Type 2 (previously  SAS70 Type II) audited facilities.
  • Access is monitored and controlled around-the-clock by video surveillance and security personnel with biometric security and card readers.
  • Power enters our data center facility from two substations, one of which is on a preferred service grid, all backed by N+1 redundancy on all systems, and four 600KW Caterpillar Generators.
  • Air conditioning is provided by a fully redundant N+1 chilled water based closed-loop cooling system and electric coil heating system feeding multiple air-handling units.
  • State-of-the-art multi-zoned, dry pipe, pre-action fire suppression system.

  • Oracle/Sun hardware running Unix style operating systems (Solaris 10 and several Linux flavors). 
  • Enterprise-class Cisco / Juniper networking equipment.
  • Services and equipment monitored 24/7 and use two independent external service monitoring companies from 4 global locations (San Francisco, Chicago, New York & London).
