Web and Email Hosting and Colocation Services
Ottenhoff Consulting operates out of a state-of-the-art data center in Marina del Rey, CA. We offer Web, email and colocation hosting in an environment with a dedicated 100 mbit (burstable to 1,000 mbit) connection. We operate on our own enterprise-level equipment utilizing Sun Microsystems hardware and software for shared or virtual private server services. And we offer colocation services with or without management.
Physical Data Center Details
- We operation out network in a tier 1 data center located in Marina del Rey, CA.
- State-of-the-art multi-zoned fire suppression system equipped with a laser based VESDA early warning sensory system.
- Power enters the Data Center colocation facility via a 480V feed from dual substations.
- Air conditioning is provided by a fully redundant N+1 chilled water based closed-loop cooling system and electric coil heating system feeding multiple air-handling units.
Equipment & Server Details
- All Ottenhoff Consulting servers are Sun Microsystems hardware running Sun Solaris 10 OE.
- We use only high end, enterprise class Juniper SSG-520 firewalls.
- We monitor all services and equipment 24/7 and use two independent external service monitoring companies from 4 global locations (San Francisco, Chicago, New York & London).
Network Capacity Details
- We operate our network on a 100 Mbps dedicated circuit burstable to 1,000 Mbps (1 GBps).
- Multiple POEs (points of entry) for fiber inputs with 3 redundant bandwidth carriers.

- We offer space per rack unit or whole racks for additional security.
